Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint In East Haven: Police
The robbers left in a vehicle that was reported stolen out of West Haven and found in Hamden, according to police.
EAST HAVEN, CT — A gas station was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men early Sunday morning in East Haven, according to police.
The robbery happened around 2:40 a.m. at the Forbes Premium Fuel at 863 North High St., according to police Capt. Joseph Murgo.
The men, who were wearing dark clothing and masks, were in possession of black guns and one had a purple and black gun, according to Murgo.

Murgo said the suspects “demanded cash from the register and stole a large amount of cigarettes, as well as an employee’s personal belongings before fleeing in a newer silver Nissan Altima.”
The vehicle, which was determined to be stolen out of West Haven, was recovered unoccupied in Hamden, according to Murgo.
