Yard Cleaning Tips

As the dark grew closer and closer and the sunlight hours decreased so was your intentions of keeping that yard looking terrific right? You put down the rake and you surrendered to the cold winds that knocked down the leaves and covered that mess you will leave to the spring to clean up.

Well folks the time is almost here! Spring will be in the air shortly!. Yeah I know there is snow cover on the ground and you can't see those pesky leaves. What is your plan to clean up?

Here's some tips I have for you....

1) Make a mulch pile for the leaves. Why give the most natural fertilizer away to someone for free?

2) Winter and snow can be very harsh on the ground. If you have a lawn it may look beat up and patchy. Not to worry when the time is right go out and rake out those spots.

3) Winds and snow can cause many trees to shed not only their leaves but plenty of branches too. Right now you can start to pick those up. The make great kindling for your backyard fire pit (if allowed)
