At Hagaman Library, 'Kindness Rocks' Project Welcomes LGBTQ+ Community
A Pride Month 'Kindness Rocks' library painting event, with all supplies provided, the LGBTQ+ community, allies, can "spread a little joy."
EAST HAVEN, CT —On June 7 at 2 p.m., the Hagaman Memorial Library invites members of the LBGTQ+ community and allies to paint Kindness Rocks and "share messages of love, pride, and positivity."
Inspired by the Kindness Rocks Project, all materials are provided. "Just bring your creativity," the library noted.
This project is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library.
