Founded in 1985 by a small group of volunteers at the Old Stone Church, our pantry has grown to serve over 340 families, impacting more than 1,000 individuals each month. We distribute over 8,500 food items monthly, offering a three-day emergency food supply to residents facing hardships. The majority of our food resources come from generous donations from the community, and we are currently supported by a dedicated team of 40 volunteers who help shop, stock shelves, and distribute food to those in need.

Why healthy food matters

We believe that access to healthy food is essential for the well-being of individuals and families. By providing nourishing, balanced meals, we help our neighbors maintain their health, boost their energy, and improve their quality of life. Healthy food is a cornerstone of strong, thriving communities, and we are dedicated to making sure no one in East Haven has to go without.
