EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven Mayor Joe Carfora stopped by Momauguin, Tuttle and Ferrara schools Wednesday to read to kids as part of Read Across America Day.

A Dr. Seuss fan, Carfora wore his Thing 1 shirt and picked out a Seuss book to read to the children at Momauguin. He noted in a Facebook post that the kids are "always full of surprises and great questions."
