Important Details On East Haven Tax Bills, Payment
Town officials say new tax bills will be coming out at the end of the month.

The Tax Department reminds residents and businesses, the new Tax Bills will be coming out at the end of December. There is only one installment due January 1, 2018 and can be paid through the month of January without penalty. February 1, 2018 is the deadline. Failure to send/receive a tax bill does not invalidate the tax or interest should the account become delinquent.
Please note:
DMV releases are not immediate! DMV releases will take 10 business days if payment is made by personal check, e-check or credit card. The releases will take up to 48 hours if payment is made in cash! If you are planning to purchase a new car, lease a car, or renew a registration, please plan accordingly. No exceptions.
