Incumbent East Haven Mayor, Democrat Joseph A. Carfora, Seeks 3rd Term

EAST HAVEN, CT —The Democratic Party of East Haven proudly presents its slate of candidates for the upcoming November election, vowing to continue their unwavering commitment to the values that have guided the town towards progress and unity. The Party's candidates stand united in their support for Mayor Joseph A. Carfora and Town Clerk Lisa Balter.

In his nomination acceptance speech, Mayor Joseph A. Carfora expressed his continued dedication to the betterment of East Haven. "Today, I stand before you with gratitude and a continued commitment to the values that have guided our great town," Mayor Carfora continued. "I am deeply honored to have received the endorsement of our Democratic Town Committee, a testament to the hard work and unity that define our party and administration."

Over the past four years, Mayor Carfora's administration has achieved numerous milestones, especially in the face of the challenges brought on by the pandemic. Significant infrastructure improvements have been made throughout the town. Moreover, East Haven has witnessed increased funding for education and safety services, all while keeping taxes under control.

One of the hallmarks of the Carfora administration has been the tenor of local politics, as recognized even by Republican State Representative Joe Zullo.

“I truly believe we have elevated our local politics in recent years, with credit due to officials and candidates on all sides of the aisle for keeping the temperature down, sticking to the issues, striving for bipartisanship.”
