Jean Schwartz obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven CT

Jean Schwartz, 86, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 23, 1939, Jean lived a life defined by kindness, faith, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Jean was a young soul with a warm heart who always put others before herself. She never hesitated to make time for family, friends, neighbors, or anyone in need. Whether someone needed advice, comfort, a listening ear, or simply a friend, Jean was always there. Her family knew they could tell her anything at any time, and she would meet them with understanding, compassion, and unconditional love.
A devoted Catholic, Jean’s faith guided her throughout her life and shaped the way she cared for others. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and “Gigi,” a role she cherished deeply. She especially loved babies and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her growing family.

Jean also had a special place in her heart for animals. She adored her beloved bunny, Greyson, and her seven cats: Penny, Milo, MeowMeow, Mamas, Cora, Mollymoo, and Rex, who brought her endless companionship and happiness.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Schwartz, and her cherished brother, William Walsh. We take comfort in imagining their joyful reunion.
