Joseph Melillo Middle School has selected the lovely Amy Nieto as student of the month for her outstanding academic performance and exemplary behavior. She has had perfect attendance since kindergarten. She exceeds the scholastic expectations as a member of the National Honor Society. She holds high expectations for herself always striving to learn more. She is a student who follows all rules, adheres to the dress code and is respected by students and staff. Amy's warm smile and compassionate style make her a wonderful friend. Amy's favorite subjects include Science and Language Arts. Amy says her parents value education and that her older brother, Ronald has been a great role model. He has attended JMMS as well and was very successful through his hard work. Amy has a beautiful Irish terrier dog named Susie. Amy will be trying out for the JMMS track team and loves to watch soccer. Her hobbies include photography, reading and drawing. Amy is the best part of the JMMS family. She is all about JMMS pride!
