Kevin Michael Gauvin obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven CT

Kevin Michael Gauvin, 45 of East Haven passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2025. He was born on May 14, 1980 in New Haven to Phillip Sr. and Deborah (Tiedemann) Gauvin. He is survived by his parents, his greatest joy and the love of his life, his daughter, Madison Elizabeth. Kevin is also survived by his brother, Phillip Gauvin Jr. (Stefanie); his sister Danielle Santagata (Michael); and six cherished nieces and nephews: Phillip, Cameron, Maxwell, Presley, Hunter, and Ella. He will be deeply missed by his dear friend, Danielle Zito Ramirez, who held a special place in his heart.
For the past 12 years, Kevin worked for the City of New Haven Parks Department.
Kevin’s greatest pastime was spending time with his family, including his several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He found joy in the simple things: casting a fishing line, lighting fireworks, cheering on his favorite teams—the Yankees, 49ers, and Boston Celtics—and sharing laughter with those he loved most. He will be remembered always for his infectious smile, his heart of gold, and the warmth and kindness he gave so freely.
