Legislators Offer Help Applying For Community Development Grants
State legislators Zullo and Fasano say East Haven should apply for its share of the Community Development Block Grant pie and they'll help.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Legislators say East Haven is positioned to submit a "very competitive" application for state community development grant monies.
In a letter to East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Carfora, state Rep. Joe Zullo and state Sen. Len Fasano offered expertise, advice and help in coordinating the Community Development Block Grant2020 application.
In a press release, and as is read in the letter below, the legislators said that, "since 2010, over $126 million has flowed from the state to local towns under the program." And, that in 2010 and 2011, East Haven was awarded $300,000 under the program for town-wide housing rehabilitation revolving loans.
