Lewis "Louie" Malkowski of East Haven obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Lewis “Louie” Malkowski 74 of East Haven passed away August 22, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born August 25, 1950 in New Haven to Walter and Ethel (Anderson) Malkowski. Louie is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Anna (Argento) Malkowski and two siblings; Lori Corano (Michael) of East Haven and David Malkowski of East Haven. Louie is also survived by his two children; Nicole Malkowski and Lewis Malkowski along with numerous nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.

Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, sister, April Giaparda and a brother, Wally Malkowski.

Louie was a member of the Local # 455 working as a labor in the construction field. He was an avid Giants fan who loved to spend time with his family and friends at Chatfield Hollow. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and taking trip to the casino. In his spare time, he was could be found doing woodworks.

Family will receive friends on Thursday August 28, 2025 from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 in memory of Lewis Malkowski.
