Lillian (Linnehan) Neagle Belenardo obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Lillian (Linnehan) Neagle Belenardo, 105 of East Haven passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026 at Civita Care at West River in Milford. She was born November 8, 1920 in New York City to Joseph and Hilda (Sederloff) Linnehan. Lillian is survived by her devoted daughter, Dorothy Franco (Vincent) of Bethany, ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, children; Carol Buchanon, Robert Craig and Constance Butler, first husband John Craig, second husband George Neagle, third husband Harry Belenardo and siblings; Lawrence Linnehan, William Munson, George Munson and Beatrice Hart.

Lillian has led an active and long life. She worked for over 30 years at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Employee Benefits. During her retirement she liked to help and take care of her friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved going to the East Haven Senior Center to play Bingo and go on trips, especially to the Casino. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and her dear friend John Santagata.

Family will receive friends on Monday June 22, 2026 from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT with burial to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven.
