Luke Rasile Officially Sworn As East Haven Police Detective

EAST HAVEN, CT — Please join us in congratulating Detective Luke Rasile, who was officially sworn in today following his recent promotion to detective.

Since joining the East Haven Police Department in 2013, Detective Rasile has built a reputation as a dedicated and highly skilled law enforcement professional.

Throughout his career, he has taken on a number of important responsibilities, including serving as a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, and SWAT Sniper with the South Central Regional SWAT Team. He also spent several years assigned as a Task Force Officer with the FBI Safe Streets Gang Task Force, where he worked alongside federal and local partners investigating violent crime and gang activity.

While his professional accomplishments are significant, Luke’s most important roles are those of husband and father. His commitment to his family, combined with his dedication to public service, reflects the character and leadership he brings to our department every day.
