EAST HAVEN, CT — A man is facing charges that he impersonated a police officer by displaying red and blue lights on his car.

A state police officer stopped a black Dodge Challenger on Wednesday at 8:48 a.m. on I-95 south in East Haven near exit 52. The car had red and blue illuminated lights visible from the truck's front exterior.
