Obit: Michael J. Apuzzo, 46, East Haven Volunteer Firefighter

Michael Apuzzo, 46, of East Haven passed away on Jan. 30.

Apuzzo was a graduating member of the East Haven High School class of 1986 and a volunteer firefighter for the East Haven Fire Department Company 1.

Calling hours for Apuzzo will be Feb. 4 from 4-8 p.m. at the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church in East Haven. The burial will be at St. George Cemetery on Route 77 in Guilford on the same day.

Apuzzo was a meat department manager at BJ’s Wholesale Club.
