New East Haven Superintendent's Salary Disclosed
The school board is in the process of trying to hire a new schools superintendent and they have approved a salary range.

EAST HAVEN, CT – The new superintendent of schools will earn a salary of between $155,000 and $160,000 annually, per approval by the Board of Education.
The board approved the salary at its most recent meeting, saying the experience level of the person hired would determine whether it would be more or less.

The current school superintendent, Dr. Portia Bonner, will be leaving the school system at the end of the current year.
Her contract was not extended by the school board.
