New York Times Bestselling Author to Visit East Haven High School

East Haven High School is excited to welcome popular and prolific young adult author,
Neal Shusterman to its school on Monday, May 4, 2015.

The New York Times bestselling author will conduct a writing workshop with a small group of students beginning at 11:30 am in the Board of Education Room at the High School before discussing his new book, Challenger Deep, in the high school auditorium at 12:30 pm. He will be available to sign books for students as well.

Shusterman is the author of the popular Skinjacker trilogy and the Unwind Dystology series which includes Unwind, a book which is one of the titles on High School

Grade 9/10 Summer Reading list, and many others.

Challenger Deep, which has received starred reviews, is Neal’s most personal novel, inspired by his eldest son’s struggle with mental illness.

Neal is known for his passion for writing and his keen interest in inspiring young students, and most notably, reluctant readers, to read.
