WATCH: East Haven Nightclub Shootout, Suspects Sought: PD
As seen in surveillance video, chaos as some try to intervene as two men exchange gunfire in Café Bar & Lounge parking lot on Main Street.
EAST HAVEN, CT — A 1 a.m. shootout Sunday in the parking lot of a Main Street bar has police looking to identify the suspects, all of whom are captured on surveillance video. There were no injuries reported.
Called to Rumba Café Bar and Lounge, at 679 Main St., for a report of gunshots, police found a number of cars in the club's lot, and in the McDonald's lot next door, had been struck by gunfire, according to East Haven Police Department Capt. Joseph M. Murgo.
After reviewing video surveillance footage, the East Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division, concluded that a white or Hispanic male believed to be in his 20s wearing a red cap turned backwards, a black t- shirt and dark-colored jeans got into a "newer model blue vehicle," and then, seen going back to the rear lot of the bar with "multiple firearms before firing multiple shots." People in the bar's parking lot are seen "fleeing and running for cover," Murgo said.

In the security camera footage video, a "second shooter who appears to be in a dispute with several others" gets a gun from a black vehicle and returns fire across the parking lot, police said.
One of the vehicles that was struck by gunfire had two people in it, Murgo said. Neither was struck nor hurt, he said.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the two "shooters," as well as a woman seen with the "second shooter" while inside the bar.
