No Vote Yet on East Haven Superintendent's Contract Extension Request
The school board on the topic this week for two hours and no decision was made.

The Board of Education met for two hours Tuesday night and took no action on Superintendent of Schools Portia Bonner’s request for a one-year contract extension, the New Haven Register reports.
Board members say they need more time to discuss the issue and there is no rush.
Bonner has two years remaining on her contract, which pays her annually $172,000.
