Not A Trap: East Haven Police Get Up To Speed To Keep People Safe

Police say one of the town's "biggest quality of life issues" is speeding motorists so, they say, "we'll be out in full force this summer."

EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven Police Department Traffic Enforcement Unit Supervisor Sgt. Joe Mulhern trained some of the department's "newer officers" in laser and speed enforcement techniques.

"Speeding is one of our biggest quality of life issues, and we will be out in full force this summer monitoring our roadways," police said. "With warm weather upon us, please be mindful of additional cars and motorcycles on the roadway. We will do our best to keep the roads safe, but motorists have to help too."
