A U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era, he was a security guard for Albertus Magnus College and Yale University.

Anthony E. Ventura Sr., 74, of East Haven beloved husband of Marie Proscino Ventura passed away on August 6, 2021 at his home. Loving father of Anthony E. (Jean) Ventura Jr. of Branford, Julie (Jeffrey) Mills of Wallingford and the late Edward M. Ventura. Grandfather of Ashley and Conner Mills.
Anthony was born in New Haven on November 23, 1946 son of the late Ezra and Anna Dybas Ventura.
Prior to his retirement Anthony was a security guard for Albertus Magnus and Yale University. Anthony served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
