Anthony J. Ennes, Jr., 71, of East Haven, died on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in New Haven on March 1, 1947 to the late Anthony John, Sr. and Maria Izidro Ennes. He worked as a Tool and Die maker at Nolan Industries for many years until retiring in 2012. Anthony loved old movies and classic cars.

In fact, he once owned a 71’ Corvette, a 78’ Grand Prix and a 68’ Firebird. He is survived by a son and a daughter, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and two sisters, Linda Ennes (Horst Biewald) of Hamden and Shirley Hughes (Greg Whitaker) of Branford.

There will be a funeral service on Saturday morning 11 am at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi - Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the services from 9 to 11.
