Obituary: Anthony “Tony” Mazzetta, 81, of East Haven

Anthony “Tony” Mazzetta 81 of East Haven went home to be with his Lord and Savior along with his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Mazzetta (Jan.18, 2021) on February 1, 2021. He was born October 24, 1939 in New Haven to James and Ellen Mazzetta. Tony is survived by his loving and devoted children; David Morcus of East Haven, Michelle Smith (Harry) of East Haven and Jeff Mazzetta (Michelle) of Rockfall, CT along with five grandchildren whom he adored, Tim Mazzetta (Megan Govel), Casey DeLucia (Christopher), Jeff Mazzetta Jr. (Karen), Nathan Mazzetta and Gianna Mazzetta. He is also survived by one great grandchild, Jacob Mazzetta, a sister, Marie Rispoli of Wallingford, sister-in-law, JoAnn Mazzetta and numerous nieces/nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Longfellow) Mazzetta, son, James A. Mazzetta (2017), parents and a brother, Vincent Mazzetta.

Besides his immediate family, Tony also leaves behind his family at Westville Bible Chapel, and many wonderful friends whom he enjoyed spending time with.
