Obituary: Antonio “Tony” D’Ambrosca, 68, of East Haven
Founder/former owner of Tony's Auto Service of New Haven, he enjoyed watching soccer with his boys and making sauce for Sunday dinner.

Antonio “Tony” D’Ambrosca 68, of East Haven beloved husband of Jo-Ann Baldino D’Ambrosca passed away on May 26, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Loving father of Anthony R. (Amanda) and Joseph D. (Gina D’Agostino) D’Ambrosca all of East Haven. Also survived by a grandson, Luca Antonio D’Ambrosca, who was the apple of Tony’s eye. Brother of Silvana (and the late Antonio) Cafaro of Italy and Pio (Olga-Lynn) D’Ambrosca of East Haven. Son-in-law of Theresa Baldino of New Haven and the late Ciro (Gene) Baldino. Brother-in-law of Geno Baldino and Lisa Baldino Jones both of New Haven. Tony leaves to cherish his memory several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and his forever friend, Nick Carusone. Tony was born in Piana di Caiazzo, Province of Caserta, Italy on September 24, 1953 son of the late Rocco and Giuseppina Petrazzuoli D' Ambrosca.
He enjoyed watching soccer with his boys, making sauce for Sunday dinner and wanted his family by his side at all times. Tony was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed. He was the founder and former owner of Tony’s Auto Service Inc. of New Haven.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven WEDNESDAY morning at 10:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 5pm to 8pm.
