This is the story of Barbara, our Mom and Nana. She was a wonderful woman that was loved, and will be missed terribly. Her heart and life were devoted to her daughters, and grandchildren. She loved them will all that she was. She was a fighter; she fought a long and courageous health battle. She loved her family; a huge part of her life was the summer picnics that were celebrated poolside. She would float on rafts with her mother for hours. She loved music, all kinds, from her Woodstock days to Hip-Hop. She was a Yankee fan, she would yell at the TV like the players could hear her. Siesta Key Florida was her 2nd home the 30 years she spent traveling down there will always be with her. She adored and cherished her best friends Carol, Tammy, and Janice. She wouldn’t want anyone to be sad, have a party throw on some music, and fire up the grill she would say. “For you there’ll be no more crying. For you the sun will be shining, and I feel that when I’m with you it’s alright, I know it’s right”.
