Obituary: Beatrice (Moccia) Andrews, 65, of East Haven

Beatrice (Moccia) Andrews passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022 in her home. Beatrice was born in New Haven, CT on December 28, 1956; daughter of the late Anthony Moccia, Sr. and Josephine (Murray) Moccia.

Earlier in her career, Beatrice worked for API Insurance, and later on Waldbaums Supermarket. Beatrice is survived by her children Anthony Andrews (Lauren) of Enfield, CT, Mark Andrews (Amanda) of East Haven, CT, and Ashley Negron (Michael) of Wallingford; her Granddaughters Kaylee, Ava & McKenzie Andrews, and Madilyn Negron; her sisters Geraldine Roby (Thomas) of Branford, Gertrude Moccia of Bethany, Antonia Katynski (Peter) of East Haven; and her brother Anthony Moccia, Jr. of Meriden.

She was predeceased by her sisters Josephine Pickering & Veronica Consiglio, and her brother George Moccia. She was also adored by her many nieces and nephews.

Family was everything to Beatrice. She was always very proud of her children, and her greatest joy in life was her four beautiful granddaughters. She enjoyed watching game shows (both old and new), had a love of “I Love Lucy” reruns, and playing backgammon with her son, Mark.

Her family will be accepting visitors at Shoreline Cremation 425 Main St. East Haven, CT 06512 on FRIDAY APRIL 1, 2022 from 4-7pm.
