Obituary: Beverly Jane Moore, 75, of East Haven

Beverly Jane Moore, 75, of East Haven passed away August 29, 2023. She was born October 12, 1947 in New Haven to James and Frances (Scroka) Delano. Beverly is survived by her two devoted sons, Keith Delano and John Theriault both of East Haven and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly is also survived by her life companion, Thomas Theriault of Southington, two brothers, Ronald Delano of New Haven, James Delano of Florida, nephew, Nicholas Delano and dear friends, Carrie Esposito, Debbie Fraulo and many others. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Kenneth Delano.

Beverly has been a very special part of the East Haven community for many years, even delivering papers for the NH Register. She started out in 1989 driving the school bus for Laidlaw in East Haven and later she became the Manager of the East Haven bus yard with Double A and then continued when it was taken over by Durham School Services in 2021. Beverly did all of the bus routing and managing during this time. She had great relationships with the town, the Board of Education, and the local schools.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 4 P.M. until the time of service at 7 P.M. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT 06512. Burial will be private.
