Obituary: Bridget “Betty” Criscuolo Ciaburri 95, of East Haven
Bridget was an avid swimmer. Her hobbies were gardening, playing her organ, and cooking was her passion.

Bridget “Betty” Criscuolo Ciaburri 95, of East Haven formerly of Mt. Carmel beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Ciaburri peacefully passed away on September 19, 2018 in Apple Rehab Laurel Woods of East Haven, where she resided for the last five years. Loving mother of Philip (Betty) Ciaburri of North Haven. Proud grandmother of Anthony (Rebecca) Ciaburri of North Haven and Christie (Angelo) Cambio of East Greenwich, RI. Also survived by four cherished great grandchildren Carlie, Cecilia, Lucas and Ella. Sister of the late Anna Cavallaro Anthony, Louis, James, Gerald and Richard Criscuolo. Bridget was born in New Haven on June 11, 1923 daughter of the late James and Anna Purficato Criscuolo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bridget was an avid swimmer. Her hobbies were gardening, playing her organ, and cooking was her passion. The Ciaburri Family would like to express sincere gratitude for the high quality of care provided by the compassionate staff at Apple Rehab Laurel Woods with special thanks to Roberta and Jean whose personal connections with our mom made Apple Rehab feel like home to her.Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Road (Rte. 80) East Haven SATURDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Friends and family may call SATURDAY morning from 9:00 to 10:30. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
