Obituary: Camilla Monaco Palmieri, 95, of East Haven

Camilla Monaco Palmieri, 95 of East Haven passed away May 11, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Frank Palmieri. Beloved mother of Carol Ann Palmieri of East Haven and the late Frank Palmieri, Jr. Loving grandmother of Lawrence, Christopher and Katherine Palmieri. Sister of Dorothy Scala of West Haven and the late Rosemarie Bonito. Also survived by 8 cherished great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Camilla was born in New Haven on October 28, 1927 a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Esposito Monaco.

Prior to her retirement Camilla was a secretary at the Edgewood School in New Haven for many years.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. There will be No Calling Hours.
