Carol (Werle) Falcigno, 86 of East Haven passed away May 6, 2023 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was born August 30, 1936 in New Haven to Raymond and Matilda (Pieper) Werle. Carol, the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother is survived by her husband, Robert W. Falcigno, son, Robert A. Falcigno (Megan Bozzuto) of Branford and three granddaughters, Alexis Falcigno, Brittany Falcigno and Cassandra Falcigno. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Werle Jr. of East Haven.

She worked for Knudsen’s Dairy and also for Gift Haven of East Haven before becoming a passionate homemaker and mother.

A lifelong resident of East Haven she also served on the board of the East Haven Inland Wetlands Commission.A lifelong, passionate Boston sports fan she loved her “Sox” and her Patriots. She couldn’t wait for football Sunday’s to watch her guy “Brady”.

Carol was a loving and compassionate woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family that misses and loves her dearly. She was a truly selfless person whose passing will leave an infallible gap for her loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend at Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven (Please go directly to the church). Burial will be private and all services are under the care of The Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
