Obituary: Dan Macy, 33, of East Haven

Saturday, November 4, 2017 Dan Macy of East Haven passed away unexpectedly. Dan was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 5, 1984 son of Robert M. Macy and Suzanne M. (Olechna) Macy of Madison and formerly East Haven. Brother of Sarah Macy (Josh Curry) of Clinton. Also survived by his maternal grandfather ; several aunts; uncles and many cousins. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents; two aunts; an uncle and several cousins.

Dan enjoyed fishing, especially most recently on a long awaited father and son trip up state NY. He is a graduate of East Haven High school and was a talented artist. Dan's music was very important to him. He enjoyed attending various shows. He cherished all time spent around family and loved his time with them.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, Nov. 10 from 5 – 8 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dan Macy’s Memory to Swift River, 151 South St, Cummington, MA 01026.
