Obituary: Daniel E. “Sonny” Fabrizio, 86, of East Haven
Dan, who served his country faithfully as a Marine during the Vietnam War, was, before retiring, an electrician for Wells Fargo Bank.
Daniel E. “Sonny” Fabrizio 86, of East Haven beloved husband of the late Carol Ann Sudac Fabrizio and Patricia Fitzsimmons Fabrizio passed away on May 15, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. Loving father of Gina Fabrizio and Melissa (Noel) Cardona all of Meriden and Daniel J. Fabrizio of East Haven and the late Edward J., Susan and Mark A. Fabrizio. Dan is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Madeline Simone of Las Vegas. Dan was born in West Haven on March 23, 1936 son of the late John and Mary Mauro Doody.
Prior to his retirement, Dan was an electrician for Wells Fargo Bank. Dan served his country faithfully as a Marine during the Vietnam War.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven FRIDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in St. Vincent DePaul Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
