Dante T. Riccardi, 92, of East Haven beloved husband of the late Ida Giuliani Riccardi passed away on July 10, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home. Loving father of John (Eileen) Riccardi of Fairfield and Brigida Salvioli of Milford. Grandfather of Michael (Krista) Savioli and Toni (Joseph) Anderson and Christian and Olivia Riccardi. Great grandfather of Isabella, Julia and Michael Salvioli. Brother of the late Angela Marie and Carmen and Roberto Riccardi.

Dante was born in Solopaca, Italy on June 28, 1929 son of the late Giovanni and Brigida Tangretti Riccardi. Prior to his retirement Dante was a railroad mechanic for Metro North and Amtrak.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven WEDNESDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call TUESDAY from 5pm to 8pm.
