Obituary: Donna (Moreland) Desmond, 76, of East Haven

Donna (Moreland) Desmond, 76 of East Haven passed away June 17, 2023 at Apple Rehab. She was born on August 24, 1946 to Clarence and Lillian Moreland of New Haven Connecticut. She was the youngest of four children. Donna is survived by her brother, George Moreland and his wife Anna Moreland, nephews, George W. Moreland and his wife Janice Moreland and Pasquale Moreland and his wife DeAnna Moreland. Donna was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Desmond of 18 years, daughter, Lisa Wood Bartlett, brothers, Charles Francis Moreland and Alonzo Moreland III.

Donna worked for A-1 Transportation for over 20 years. Donna loved camping, her dog Patch and spending time with friends and family.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at which time her funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
