Obituary: Donna Norman, 72, of East Haven

Donna Norman, 72, of East Haven passed away October 29, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born January 18, 1949 in New Haven to Matthew and Mary (Moseley) Cusack. Donna is survived by her two loving and devoted sons, John D’Auria of East Haven and Bryan D’Auria (Jenna Spence) of Rocky Hill along with five grandchildren, who she adored, Morgan D’Auria, Lainie D’Auria, Amy D’Auria, Bryan D’Auria and Samantha D’Auria. Donna is also survived by her brother, Matthew Cusack (Maureen) of VT and nieces/nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, former Mayor of East Haven, Robert Norman (1985-1991).

Donna was a retired employee of SNET with over 40 years of service and spent the past 30 years as Register of Voter in East Haven. She belonged to the Irish American Club and many Town of East Haven committees and was a dedicated member of the Republican Town Committee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, November 8 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 9 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
