Obituary: Edward M. Sabatino, 82, of East Haven
A construction foreman and member of the Laborer's Union Local 455, he enjoyed fishing, swimming, baseball and UCONN women's basketball.

Edward M. Sabatino, 82, of East Haven, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 24, 2022. He was the loving husband of Anna Parisi Sabatino. Mr. Sabatino was born on November 17, 1939 in New Haven.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and spending many family vacations in Ocean City, NJ. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, going to the gym, baseball and the UCONN women's basketball team. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 455 as a construction foreman for many years, retiring in 1998.

Besides his loving wife, Mr. Sabatino is survived by his children Lisa (Anthony) LoGiurato of Broomall, PA and Edward Sabatino Jr. (Anita Kasdan) of East Haven. Grandchildren, Bianca, Olivia, Anthony, and Roma LoGiurato, Kadence Sabatino and Marlayna Kasdan; sisters Evelyn Altschuler and Myra Santoro.
His family would like to extend a special thank-you to Ronnie and Mary Jane Parisi, Christine, Dana, Deana, Donna, Irma, Judi, Sandra, and Simon for all of the compassionate care they provided to Ed during his illness.

Mr. Sabatino’s funeral procession will leave the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St. East Haven, CT at 1030am on FRIDAY January 28, 2022 for a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish (St. Vincent DePaul Church) 80 Taylor Ave East Haven. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be prior to the mass from 8:30AM-10:30AM at the funeral home.
