Obituary: Elaine DeLillis Perillo 82, of East Haven

She was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Church for over 50 years, a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Ladies Guild.

Elaine DeLillis Perillo 82, of East Haven beloved wife of Anthony E. Perillo passed away on January 27, 2018 in Apple Rehab Laurel Woods. Loving mother of Cynthia (Robert) Armor, Andrea (John) Ross, and Anthony R. Perillo all of East Haven. Grandmother of Robert A. Armor and Tyler, Mara and Dana Ross. Sister of the late Shirley Cerrato.

Elaine was born in New Haven on September 5, 1935 daughter of the late Jean DeFelice DeLillis and step-daughter of the late Victor DeLillis. Prior to her retirement Elaine was a clerk for the former S.N.E.T. She was a 1953 graduate of Hillhouse High School and a Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Church for over 50 years, a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Ladies Guild and was a Eucharistic minister and loved working at the summer carnival and Christmas Fair. Elaine loved to travel especially by bus and was a member of the Riverdale Home Makers Club.

Elaine's family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab Laurel Woods for the care shown to Elaine during her illness and a thank you to Dr. Zaheer and office staff. Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven FRIDAY morning at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call THURSDAY from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Pompeii Church Building Fund 355 Foxon Rd. East Haven,CT. 06513.
