Obituary: Eloise Jean Pabst, 76, of East Haven

Eloise Jean Pabst, 76, of East Haven, passed away peacefully February 12, 2023 at St. Raphael Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years Chris Pabst.

Eloise was born in East Haven on July 28th, 1946 to Virginia D’Alessio and the late Modestino (Albert) DeCaprio. She attended Middlesex Community College and worked for many years in accounts payable at Bob’s clothing stores in Middletown. Family was everything to Eloise, she adored her grandchildren and loved to cook and entertain for her family particularly around Christmas, her favorite holiday. Eloise also loved to play bingo, trips to the beach, flowers, and her cats.

In addition to her husband Chris and mother Virginia, Eloise is survived by her daughters: Gina (Lorenzo) Siciliano, Tara Benjamin and Kerri Ann Sherneski; grandchildren: Emily Lucibella, Devin Corbin and Hoyt Conant; her brothers Allan (Roseanne) DeCaprio and Anthony (Christine) DeCaprio and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit THURSDAY February 16th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Eloise FRIDAY at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church (St. John Bosco Parish) 731 Main Street, Branford.
