Obituary: ​Francis William Casner Sr., 76, of East Haven

Francis William Casner Sr., 76, of East Haven, died on Saturday October 27 in East Haven. He was the father of Marcy Gagliardi, Francis W. Casner Jr. (Diane Kapinos), Joseph J. Casner (Stacey), and David A. Casner (Debbie). He was the brother of John and Stephen Casner (Maureen), Grace Weeks, and Ruth Schneider. He was predeceased by his sisters, Nancy Ferris and Margaret Hofmeister.

He was also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. Francis was born on June 27, 1942, a son of the late John and Ann McNamara Casner.

He was an awesome dad and an avid baseball fan.
