Obituary: Frank A. Cacace, Jr. (Porto Funeral Homes)

Frank A. Cacace Jr., 74, of East Haven passed away on March 27, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital. Brother of Judy Rivellini of Northford, Gerard (Denise) Cacace of Branford and the late Geraldine Lyon. Uncle of Kimberly (Dave) D’Onofrio and Danny and Jeffrey (Stephanie) Rivellini. Great uncle of Christopher Palmer, Bianca, Briana and David D’Onofrio Jr. and Vincent, Gianna, Bianca and Marchella Rivellini. Frank was born in New Haven on March 9, 1952 son of the late Frank A. “Poppy” and Rose Piscitelle Cacace Sr. Before retiring, he worked as an auto body repairman with Frank’s Auto Body.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven WEDNESDAY morning, April 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call WEDNESDAY morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
