Irene Coppola Liquori, 78, of East Haven passed away suddenly June 11, 2018 at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. Wife of the late Ciro “Jerry” Liquori. Beloved mother of Jodi (Vincent) Verderame of New Haven and Frank (Melissa) Liquori of Branford. Loving grandmother of Vincent (Danielle), Michael (Lisa) and Anthony (Alyssa) Verderame, Frank (Marie), Jerry (Jo-Leigh), Briana and Joseph Liquori. Cherished great grandmother of Joseph, Vincent, Dominic, Salvatore, Michael and Anthony Verderame and Isabella Liquori. Daughter of the late Anthony and Olive Root Coppola. Sister of the late Alphonse Coppola.

Prior to her retirement Irene worked for the former Robby Len Fashions in New Haven for 42 years.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call TUESDAY MORNING from 8:30-10:30.
