Obituary: ​John C. Nicoletti, 89, of East Haven

John C. Nicoletti 89 of East Haven beloved husband of the late Annette Rose Berti Nicoletti passed away on January 24, 2022 at the West Haven VA Hospital. Loving father of Doreen Nicoletti of Wallingford, Annette (David) Swanson of St. Paul, MN Gina Nicoletti of West Haven and the late Vicki Nicoletti. Grandfather of Leslie (John) Kanuch, Hollis Capuano, Henry and Philip Swanson, Erica and James VonDaacke and Michael and Lauren Morano. Great grandfather of Jackson VonDaacke. Brother of Virginia Strasser of the Bronx, NY and the late John, Anthony “Tony” and Michael Nicoletti. John was born in the Bronx, NY on March 13, 1932 son of the late Carmine and Guilda Lupo Nicoletti.

Prior to his retirement, John was in charge of security for Textron Corporation. John was a Marine veteran who served his country faithfully during the Korean Conflict.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor and military service Friday at 7 p.m. with visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) in East Haven. Interment will be private.
