Obituary: John G. D’Amato 64, formerly of East Haven
A Celebration of Life Jam Session for musician John will be held at Doody's restaurant in North Branford, on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

John G. D’Amato 64, of Franklin, TN formerly of East Haven beloved husband of 30 years to Lauren Cook D’Amato passed away on July 1, 2022 in Williamson Medical Center. Loving father of Marlana (Michael) Lynam of North Carolina and John P. and Faith M. D’Amato both of Tennessee. Grandfather of Sage Marak and Mikey Lynam. Brother of Gerard D. (Yvonne) D’Amato of Madison and the late Cheryl Manciero (Alan deceased) Bosco. John was born in New Haven on July 17, 1957 son of the late John J. and Carmel Piscitelle D’Amato.
At the time of his death John was a self-employed musician teacher. There will be a Celebration of Life Jam Session for John at Doody's Restaurant in North Branford on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It would be his dream to see all of his musically inclined friends and family playing in his honor.
