Obituary: José Garzón Cárdenas, 66, of East Haven & New Haven

José Garzón Cárdenas, 66, of East Haven and New Haven passed away on August 4, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital's St. Raphael Campus. He was born on February 4, 1956 in Ecuador to the late Rogerio Garzon and Dolores Cardenas. José is survived by his four beloved children, Klever Garzon (Diana) of East Haven, Carlos Garzon (Doris) of Ecuador, Joselyn Garzon of West Haven and Andy Garzon of West Haven along with four grandchildren, Jossue, Carlos, Dominick and Gianna. He is also survived by his brothers, Luis, Rosalía, Antonio and Lucrecia Garzón.

José was a great human being as a son, great human being as a brother, great human being as a father, great human being as a grandfather and a great human being as a friend. Today he leaves a great mark on the lives and memories of all. His memories will make Jose live in each one of our hearts.

Family will receive mask wearing friends from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. All are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 13 at 11 A.M. in St. Mary Church, 54 Grove Street, Clinton CT (Please go directly to the church). Burial will be in Ecuador.
