Kathleen “Kathy” Lyon, 64, beloved wife of Donald R. Lyon, Sr. of East Haven passed away January 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Donna (Kyle) Denny of New Haven and the late Donald R. Lyon, Jr. Caring grandmother of Brianna Lyon and Haley Denny. Cherished daughter of James Lyons, Sr. of East Haven and the late Norine Clark Lyons. Sister of Marianne (Billy) Moscatelli of Wallingford, James (Annie) Lyons, Jr. of Branford and Robert Lyons of East Haven. Daughter-in-law of Carol Lyon and sister-in-law of James Lyon both of East Haven. Aunt of Brian and April Mathis, Bobby and Nikki Lyons, Chelsea and James Lyons, Caden and Cameron Lyons and Nick Moscatelli. A second mom to Anna and Hollie Proto.

Kathy was born in New Haven on August 20, 1956. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Chubb Insurance Co. until 2016. Kathy enjoyed camping, the casino and above all her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed.
