Obituary: Lattanzia “Larry” Donadio, 71, formerly of East Haven

Lattanzia “Larry” Donadio, 71, of Hamden, formerly of East Haven and New Haven, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022, at Connecticut Hospice. He was born April 14, 1951, in New Haven to the late Lattanzia Donadio and Phyllis Burns.

Larry worked for many years as a plastic fabricator for FPI and later as a racing shell builder at Vespoli until his retirement. He was a passionate outdoorsman and loved fishing, music, camping, kayaking, hunting, and just being outdoors.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice (Lockery) Donadio, and two devoted children, Christopher Donadio (Sandra) of East Haven and Michael Donadio (Lakeisha) of Hamden; along with two grandchildren, eight brothers, three sisters, nine nieces, and six nephews. He is also preceded in death by a sister.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 2 P.M. until the time of service at 3 P.M. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford CT 06405 in memory of Lattanzia “Larry” Donadio.
