Laura DeMaio Kluth, 64, of East Haven passed away on June 17, 2025 surrounded by her family at Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. Loving mother of Christina Cifarelli of North Branford, Michael P. Cifarelli of East Haven, Jacquelyn (Jordan Glynn) Cifarelli of Quaker Hill, CT and Nicholas A. Kluth of North Branford. Sister of Deborah (Scott) Tarnawa, Anthony DeMaio and Charles A. “Chuck” (Tina) DeMaio III all of East Haven and the late Joseph A. DeMaio. Laura was born in New Haven on December 11, 1960 daughter of Marion Santora DeMaio of East Haven and the late Charles A. DeMaio Jr. Laura was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved family gatherings and always brought her family together for events she hosted at her house, whether it was for a holiday, birthday or a Sunday family dinner.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven SATURDAY morning at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
