Obituary: Lawrence R. “Bing” Paul, 72, of East Haven
A Vietnam veteran, he was a machinist, and an avid fisherman and boater who loved being outdoors and especially riding his motorcycle.

Lawrence R. “Bing” Paul of East Haven died Thursday September 16, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of fifty years of Karen Guillemette Paul.
Bing was born November 13, 1948 in Pittsfield, MA, son of the late Randolph and Helen Smith Paul.

He was a Vietnam war veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. Bing worked for Turbine Components as a machinist for many years until retiring in 2017. Bing was an avid fisherman and boater. He loved being outdoors and especially riding his motorcycle.
He was a devoted family man and was the loving father to Joel (Kelly) Paul and grandfather to Aedan and Sophia Paul. He was predeceased by his son John Paul and his brother Ronald Paul.

Bing is survived by a loving family and a host of tremendous friends for whom the family is very grateful. Bing will be truly missed.
