Obituary: Louis Pasquale Liscio, 87, of East Haven, formerly Branford
Proud of his Italian heritage, he was an avid gardener, and "good guy" who named his boat "No Problem," which symbolized his motto in life.

Our beloved husband and father, Louis Pasquale Liscio, 87, of East Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family from complications of Parkinson’s Disease on May 2, 2023.
Louie was born on February 17, 1936 in Monteleone, a province of Foggia, Italy. He came to America in 1948 when he was twelve years old. He was always very proud of his Italian heritage. He started working at Furniture Transport where he met his wife, Judy, and eventually was the proud owner/operator of Associated Furniture Freightways in North Haven, CT. Louie and Judy were married on November 13, 1965 and lived for many years raising their children on Brockett’s Point Road in Branford, CT. They lived in Naples, Florida, in the winters and then retired to East Haven, CT. Louie was a long time member of the Indian Neck Yacht Club where his family enjoyed their boat, No Problem which symbolized his motto in life. He was also an avid gardener. He was truly one of the good guys.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Carmella Liscio, his sisters, Vera Massielo and
Phyllis DeNisi, and his son, Gary Lee Mauzy. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly
Judith (Robinson) Liscio, his daughters, Lisa Marie Liscio, of Branford, CT and Deanna Theresa
(Liscio) Hill and son-in-law, Jeffrey Dean Hill, of Tualatin, Oregon; his son, Joel Louis Liscio, of
East Haven, CT and daughter-in-law, Lisa Mauzy. He also is survived by his grandchildren,
Elizabeth Ann (Mauzy) Conti, Alexandria Alice Mauzy, Sonya Anne Piacente, Jeffrey Louis Hill,
Sarah Marie Hill, Emma Renee Hill and Gianni Thomas Liscio; two great grand-children, Carissa Leigh Conti and Joseph Aeron Conti, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed forever.

A Memorial for family and friends will be held at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford on Friday May 26th at 12 P.M. Friends may call prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00. A Celebration of LIfe will follow at Doody's in North Branford, CT where Lou and Judy had their first date.
